Noam

How about releasing it on the forum, but not
forcing the automatic update.
That way, the forum users (probably your
largest group of problem-finders) can test
it, give their feedback, and roll back if
they want to, but the "general public"
wouldn't automatically get the update until
at least Monday, when you guys get a chance
to read the feedback from the weekend.
Essentially, a beta testing of the upgrade.

FWIW

I would just like to know what is to be
fixed in the release.  It should be known
well enough to let someone know what to
expect so they can test it out when it
arrives.  I know the last time X10 posted
the "fixes" prior to a release I was ready
with new macros that would test the
problems I had and I knew quickly it
worked.  It wouldn't hurt to list them,
even if it is not "exactly" what is fixed.

Hangin' in there....

X10 Pro: The answer is easy,  scheduling
someone to handle the week-end calls and
only release through the forum and not
through Auto-update on Fridays.

I am confused with the version number of
the latest release. I was running 3.183 and
downloaded the latest release which I
thought should have been 3.186 but what is
shown in the application is 3.180. When I
check for the latest release in the
application, it states that 3.180 is the
latest but the banner indicating an "update
is available" is constantly showing. Is
this yet another bug??

martin

As I can tell, the latest release is 3.183
and the one coming is 3.186 (believe 3.185
was for iWitness).

X10 Pro

The next release will be 3.186. The last
general AHP release was 3.183, but we used
3.184 and 3.185 for iWitness releasese.

JGC: It sounds like some of the update data
has gotten confused on your system. Try
running this update:

X10 Pro and the target release date is?

Will there be a list of fixes in the
announcement?
