SwitchLinc turns OFF but not ON

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could shed some
light on this:

I had been using the X10 Decorator Dimmer
switch for a while and it was working fine.
However, I decided to upgrade to the
SwitchLinc RX (I have no neutral wires in
my house).

The SwitchLinc works fine under local
control, but if I use the CM15A to control
it, it turns OFF fine every time, but it is
very unreliable in turning ON. Sometimes, I
have to send it 40-50 ON commands to get it
to turn on, and sometimes it just doesn't
turn on at all and I have to turn it on
locally.

Has anyone had this problem? I know that in
the manual it talks about problems turning
OFF but not ON due to load resistance, but
I have never seen anything about problems
going the other way.

Your insight would be greatly appreciated.

This is a standard problem with the
Switchlinc RX switches.  All 4 of my
Switchlinc RX switches do this also.  My
guess is that the internal circuitry for
operation without a ground wire when
left "off" several hours causes the voltage
and signal sensor for a line signal to drift
and it doesn't operate correctly.  However
all I have to do is locally turn the switch
on and off and then it operates fine with
line signals.  It is an annoyance of these
switches.  I have not seen this problem on
any Switchlincs that have a ground wire
required.

Thanks a lot, DWD.
I would have spent weeks replacing parts
thinking it was my wiring. I guess I'll
just have to return them and put back the
old ones.
