Motion detector also causes PC shutoff

When ever i got my Multiview working for a
little while, powering the motion detector
and saving images, will shut the desktop
Off. I am wondering all the money I spent
with 4 caemra system, and all the other
parts, seems none work including interface
to VCR. Any suggestions?
