The issue is X10 can't keep programmers around!
Each time they get a new programmer they must try to learn the Program as well as how it's coded.
if you have a issue with AHP this is not the place to complain.
A message on facebook will get you more satisfaction!
If your looking to get something working then post as much info about your system and what your trying to do.
Someone here will try to help!( probably more then one user will jump in)

I reviewed... re-read your posts at the various threads.

I myself also use an old computer for HA... I know it can be done. I think these old "dust collectors" are perfect when recycled for HA. But a PC that has been collecting files, folders, software, bits & bytes for more than a decade can become unstable... to the point of unreliable. I started with a clean reformatted HD and a new install of XP. Then I bumped up the RAM to the PC's limit.

But the corrupt files and failures to load you've reported doesn't read to me like an X10 software problem as much as a PC problem. You reported the same problem with PCC.

Your computer may very well be at its limits... or needs some setting changes your not aware of. Or maybe.. just some uninstalls and defraged. I can't tell from the posts so much... as you seem convinced it is all a software issue. You may be right. But if you open your mind to the idea that this may be a PC issue... you may be able to resolve the issues... even with the same PC.

Well, it could be a COMPUTER problem, but I just, I mean just RESTORED my computer and started all over.
Have so far only loaded the essentials.  Haven't even restored my "favorites" or "pictures".

My main goal was to get this computer to report issues around the house while I'm at work.  I'm not doing spreadsheets, photos, videos, or anything with a lot of overhead, except XP.  Got a 40gig hard drive with about 30 gig free space.

Got some of the kinks worked out with Tuicemen on his forum.

Finally got some Advanced functions to work, after learning the proper format; which I really have not been able to find very easily.  The documentation for this is, to say the least, sparse.
