First-time poster here...
OK... OK... I've checked thru the last 28
pages of posts to see if this "problem" was
ever addressed, and have seen no mention of
it. So I am assuming that either I AM an
idiot and I've been overlooking something
obvious, or no one else has the "problem".
I would like to open AHP without it
connecting to the internet, or prompting me
to connect to the internet. But I don't want
to give up the ability for other programs to
prompt me to connect.
When I choose NOT to connect after opening
AHP, does this limit the capabilities of the
program? (beyond the obvious things
like "clicking to buy", or "update checks")
With limited resources on my Pentium 2
running Win98, when I connect, my phys.
memory drops. AHP already runs slow on my
system, i.e. the scrolling thru the modules
when I have the "ALL ROOMS" page up is very
laborious.
I am trying to work thru alot of problems
that I have with my AHP since I've upgraded
from ActiveHome including freeze-ups and all-
out crashes and would rather not bring my
dial-up modem into the mix.
Any ideas/comments?
Thanks
Frank
