Brightness Control Discrepancies
« on: January 26, 2005, 11:24:51 AM »

For some reason when controlling lights
directly or in a macro, you can set the
brightness with a 1% resolution, but in a
timer you can only set it with a 10%
resolution.  Since most modules have 16
brightness levels, it should be a 6.7%
(100/15) resolution everywhere.  Optimally
the resolution should be module dependant,
based on the number of brightness levels it
supports.  Overall I would consider this to
be a low priority, but I thought I would
put it out there.

I think we'll be changing this in a future
release. One idea was to let you type the dim
value in, in addition to using the slider.
