House Codes
« on: February 05, 2005, 07:56:55 PM »

After the update to 3.1779 the house codes
do not seem to work. i set it to auto and
it show me the 2 house codes correctly but
the next time i go back to the hardware
configuration it is blank. i really don't
care for the house codes being blank but
the remotes stop working the minute the
house codes go blank.
is anyone else having the same problem???
There is a definite problem with the house
codes and the battery time reset function.
X10 please have a look and advise.

I lost all house codes on my xp machine when
I updated but was able to set them using the
specific setting and it retains the info. if
I set it to auto I loose house code A. On my
98se machine I lost house code A only with
the update but still had to set it to
specific  in order to keep code A.

Tuicemen: Do you have an RR501 or TM751 in
AHP on House Code A? If so, that's the reason
that the Auto setting is not selecting House
Code A -- it excludes any House Code where
you have indicated you have a transceiver.

the lucky ones that don't need them.
