I am one of the people who is having a
problem with 3.180 using SP2.  I can
download 3.180 and update from 3.179 and
everything works fine until I restart the
computer.  This is when I get the error
message and 3.180 will not load.  My present
solution is to reload 3.179 each time I
restart the computer and then upgrade to
3.180.  I do have my Norton Anti-Virus
deactivated when I go through this process.

I have XP SP2 and Norton AV and I have had
no problem installing any upgrade even with
Norton AV running.   Go figure.

Thanks Bob.   Can I get a URL to download
the whole program so that I'm not just
doing an update.    I would love to re-load
my machine from a clean backup then install
the program from scratch without going
through the update process.

I just updated 3.180 to 3.183, am doing a
cold load of CM15A (AC unplug, batteries
out then in, AC plug-in, software clear,
hardware interface update, activity monitor
clear, delayed macro termination, interface
clear, timer / macro download, software
down, USB disconnect.)  Keep your fingers
crossed....

I previously have had trouble loading 3.180
with SP2.  I was asble to load 3.183.
