Saw a message on accessx10.com and verified
it myself. If you have the cm15a connected
to the computer and do a Microsoft XP update
with the custom choice to show optional
drivers. A new X10 driver can be downloaded
from Microsoft. I have no clue if it is also
in the latest updates from X10 AHP updates.

Please forgive my typing error in the
headder. Should be cm15a XP Driver.

Brian: Interesting.  I know several updates
back X10 updated the driver and had it
registered with Microsoft.  It is possible
that the XP update isn't smart enough to
know that you already have the updated
driver.  Alternately it could be an updated
driver for the next release of AHP that
Microsoft has made available before X10.

If I remember correctly, X10 is planning on
providing a Web Plug-in with the next
update.  That may have required a new
driver.  It also may have caused unexpected
delays on the software side of things.

The driver in Windows Update isn't part of
the Web/Internet plug-in, and isn't actually
a change to the driver binary. This is the
first time that X10 has listed anything on
Windows Update -- ever -- and we had to make
a date change and a couple other changes to
the driver INF to make it happen. It is the
driver we'll be shipping in our software from
here on out, but it's functionally no
different than what you already have.
