AHP not responding to several modules
« on: December 19, 2005, 04:17:00 PM »

I have AHP on my XP pro box and use it to
run several different lights and light
appliances, which are difficult to get to...

Using AHP and appliance modules AM466 and
lamp modules LM465 I have had perfection in
performance.

Suddenly I can only get the modules to
respond if I place them on the same power
strip as the AHP controller.

I have had this system for about a month
presently and have new batteries in the base
unit.

Any suggestions for non-responsive lamp and
appliance modules?

Thanks

Sounds like a noise problem. Any new
appliances on the same breaker/outlet as the
modules that are "lost"?

If you can address the other modules, then
you need a noise filter on that appliance.

Watch out for power strips they can isolate
you from the house circuts. Try if at all
possible not to use power strips I had
nothing but problems with them.
