i want to mount my x10 programmable power
supplies in a centralized way, will it
affect anything if the power supply cables
are spliced with longer cables, thanx

May depend on how far you want to go and
what sized wire you wanted to use. If your
cameras are the instant on ones. The cable
is a three conductor. Common; constant power
for the camera portion and a switched power
for the transmitter. That way the camera
part does not have to take a few seconds for
video to be avilable.
