blue screen

ok i hook every thing up correctly but i am
getting just  a lue screen

I suspect your tv resorts to a blue screen
when it loses input signal. This is how it
would look hooked up to cable tv input and
the cable company has a power outage. You
can probably get a blue screen with the
cable disconnected.
Does your tv have a remote? Can you
select the input? I would need more
information about what equipment you have
to provide any better advice.

I know when I turn on my VCR I get a blue
screen till I change the channel to match
the TV. When I hit TV-VCR botton it turns
on my screen so I can see out side and back
to TV if I wish.
