The cameras' operating temperature is  from 14F
(-10C) to 131F (55C). If used  outside of
this temperature range, the
cameras will have less transmission  range,
longer warm-up time when turned
on, and a more grainy image. If the
temperature falls extremely
outside  this range, the camera may stop
functioning and/or become
permanently  damaged.
Standard statement. Is this stuff any good
outside> I live in upstate NYS. It gets cold
up here. Thanks

Hey man, I've used them into the teens and
it works fine. I don't know about the
signal range. Mine was about 200 ft. away
up in a tree where I was hunting. I had
crystal clear reception, even at that
distance. Another one of my cameras I leave
outside year round and it gets well below
zero here. I can't remember any problems
with it that cold. That's just me though,
so don't go put your camera out there and
then blame me if it doesn't work. I'm just
trying to help you, by telling you my
experience. Good luck!

Paul , i'm in Buffalo NY and i have had
several cams outside for almost 3 years now
without any problems from the cold.
I did have one problem with my ninja mount a
couple times when we had freezing rain and
the whole thing ended up covered in ice just
thick enough to keep the mount from turning.
I'm not far from the shore of lake erie and
so we get some VERY cold winds and the cams
have perfomed well throuhout :)

Hi , I live in Canada and its usually cold.
Do you keep the plastic cover on the lens
that came with it originally?

I have two cameras outside, under the eaves
in order to protect them from snow and ice,
and I live in Canada where the temperature
has often reached -35 Celsius (about -31 F).
So far no problem with camera and reception.
The problem is with the Wireless Motion
Sensors at that temperature. I also have a
problem with the weak RF signal that these
sensors emit. The cameras are operating fine
and at more than 100 ft distance from the
receiver.

Looking to do a 10 Acre area with Cameras
and sound.

Have the ability to run wires just wonder
what the longest run would be.  And could
I "piggy back" computers over a lan?

Let me know
