Detecting motion
« on: April 19, 2005, 12:33:51 AM »

How does the motion detection work (or not
work)?  For example, I setup a camera to
send me an email when it detects motion.
Well it sends tons and tons of email, but
no motion is ever detected. At least I do
not see anything in the pics. Then I go
outside and walk around, come back inside,
and it did not detect my presence. I have
set the motion sensitivity to max but the
same thing happens. I received a 100 emails
one day and all the picture looked the same.

Ideas?

from the ground and what direction is it
pointed. beisdes email, can you check it on
a video monitor to see if the problem is
email or the motion sensor of the camera?
