Ninja Pan-and-Tilt too slow for me. Any way to speed it up?

I recently got the Ninja Pan-and-Tilt mount,
and I'm pretty content with it, except it
was a lot slower than I expected(the
animation on X10's page is misleading). Is
there any way or some hack on the motors to
speed it up? What kind of motors does it use
anyway? I opened it up, and the motors have
5 wires coming out of them. What kind of DC
motors are these, and, any way to speed them
up?

I to think they are too slow. Like the
animation and the "Nightvision Joke Cams",
this is misleading advertising.
