Remotely disarming DS7000
« on: August 23, 2004, 02:04:11 PM »

Does anyone know if it is possible to
remotely disarm the security system from a
cell phone/telephone? (I read the entire
manual and did not find any reference to this
capability.) I am wanting to know just in
case the alarm trips accidentally. Thanks.

There is not a way to remotely disarm the
alarm system. I know that it does
automatically reset itself after 5 minutes
of the alarm going off.

Cool. I guess that's all I needed to know ..
I wasn't sure if it would continue to go off
(until it has been disarmed) long after it
has been triggered. Thanks Robert!

The SmartHome SecureLinc VR Wireless
Security System
(http://www.smarthome.com/73902.html) can be
armed/disarmed with a phone call from
anywhere ... I don't see why the DS7000
could do something similar. Oh well ...
