Extension Cords

Has anybody ever used connected an X10
device via an extension cord?  I'm thinking
of connecting an X10 Power Horn to an
extension cord and stuffing it into the
soffit of my garage (from the inside).

It will work fine on an extension cord.  I
use several.

Should work fine. If the cord is real long
it may lower the signal to the powerhorn if
it is of a real light guage.

I have done that exact same thing in the
past.  It sure makes it louder outside and
keeps the siren dry
