Question: Door window senors

I would like to hide sensor xmitter on a sliding door behind curtain on the side. Question: Is the wire to the magnetic switch part of the antenna system so it can't be extended due to resonating difference or don't it matter.

No it is not part of the RF Antenna. Some have added an extra switch inseries with the original for more then one trip point.

Yep that's correct it's not part of the antenna system it's internal.
