a 4 way switch system involves 3 switches.
You pull power from one 3-way switch, goes
to the 4-way, and back to another 3way and
finally to light. (one method)  I have
power going into a WS12A to a conventional
4-way, then back to another WS12A, finally
to light.  But for some reason this isn't
working.

I found something close to what I believe
your trying to descripe to me as a slave.
X10 calls it a companion switch.

Thanks for the information Brian!
Greatly appreciated.  Hopefully I didn't
damage the other x10 switches.

Yes the WS14A is the decorator companion
switch.

Thank you all for the help. I found the
switches and wiring diagram for my setup.

Maybe this will help others in the future.
