ceiling fans

Everything seems to be working properly
except that when i send an on command to turn
on a ceiling fan from the remote the fan will
turn on, but will not turn off without
turning it off at the wall switch. Any ideas
of what's going on?

Dimming wall switches are not made to
control inductive devices like a fan motor.
Is the switch a two wire type with no
neutral wire?
This maybe the problem. They do make special
switches with a relay in it to control fans
and other inductve devics along with
flourescent lamps that also should not be
used with a dimming type switch or module.
