The Decora dimmer switches are really just
modified WS467 swtiches. With, extra
plastic parts, and a different aluminum
face plate. Pretty cheezy, but cheap for
higher volumes.

Was wondering if the Decora relay switches
had the same cheezy conversion.

Reason is, I was thinking about buying some
of the decora relay swtiches (for ceiliing
fans), and converting them over to the
WS467 look, so that my switches can all be
consistent.

The ws13a and X10Pro XPS3 Decora Relay
Switches. To me seem less fragile as the
ws12a dimmer is. They have a plastic button
about 1/8" from the inner bottom frame that
the paddle pushes on. Also the XPS3 has a
red indicator near the top edge to indicate
that it is ON. The ws13a may also but I have
never seen one, as I only have a few XPS3
switches. Also you may know this, but they
need a neutral in the switch box to work.
The ws13a-is.pdf manual is in the X10
Support area in manuals. The XPS3.pdf is on
the X10Pro web site in the instruction
manuals area. www.x10pro.com

Can't say about a WS13a but I do have X10Pro
XPS3 switches. I removed the trim and paddle
from a WS12a and I can see what you mean
about extra plastic pushing the center
button like the WS467 and the extension
piece on the safety switch. The XPS3 is not
the same. It has a plastic button about 1/8"
from the bottom trim edge that the paddle
pushes and near the top of the trim is a red
indicator to show when it is on.
Also the XPS3 needs a neutral in the switch
box and uses screw treminals to make the
connections.
