If the MS-16 sends the house and unit code
for motion, is there a code for "no motion"
sent back. I am trying to turn all lights on
when motion is detected, and all lights off
when the area is quiet.
In addtion, can the lights under control of
the motion sensor also be functioning as
independently activated lights?

Thanks,
Tom

Can anyone tell me what the

I don't thind the x10 line does, but take a
look at this.

Is this the infamous TomSki of VPSM fame?

The MS16a sends an off signal after a
predetermined time after triggering. Is that
what you need? Any light or module that is
on the MS16A address, can also be turned on
or off by a hand remote; table top
controller or a computerized interface
useing the same address the modules are on.
Dick; The Smarthome part number is the X10
MS13a

OK gang, figured out the first part.
I am using the Active Home software (for now)
and have created two Macros. Both Macros use
the "Standard Macro Placeholder" and have the
the same address (O1). However, each has a
different Macro Name. ie Macro #1 is
"Motion"; Macro #2 is "No Motion". Each Macro
(#1 and #2) has a "Macro Function" for each
light (In my case there are four) that I want
"ON" when motion is detected, or "OFF" when
there is no motion for the amount of time as
specified by the MS-16. So,"Macro #1,
"Motion" is set to "ON" and each light is set
to "ON". Conversly, Macro #2 "No Motion" is
set to "OFF", and each light is set to "OFF".
It seems that the secret here is, though the
house code is the same for Macro #1 and #2
(which is normally not allowed), because of
the difference in names, everything works OK.

Now to see how the lamps respond to a
"typical" occupied "look" when we are away
while still responding appropriately to
motion. I'll keep you posted.

Dick, the following does not ring a bell, so
maybe not.

why won't my motion sensor activate the
camera. does anyone know

Brian H

Daystar; What is your setup consist of,
besides the MS-16A?

daystar

My setup consist of the Ninja Pan'n Tilt
Model Vk74A, TransiverModule TM751, Active
eye indoor/outdor sensor Ms 16A and Audo
Receiver VR31A.  Everything works Great
excep for the Sensor MS16A that should be
turning the camera on and it's not.  I am
confused.  Help!!!!!!!!!!

tom

Daystar,
Seems to me that you need to some testing of
the MS-16 independent of the camera/receiver
etc. If the MS-16 works with other devices
it should work with your camera equipment.
I'd also try another MS-16.
