New Macro
« on: October 18, 2004, 10:39:22 AM »

I would like to see a macro command that
would allow for a series of modules to be
randomly activated either brightened or
dimmed during a random time frame. I would
like to create a Christmas display with
lights being activated randomly verses a
set pattern. I would imagine that the
computer would have to be attached but a
lot of us have old unused systems that
would be perfect for this use. By the way
it might also be very good for use in a
security system - lights being turned on in
a random pattern might be a better
discouragement than a set pattern. The
module might allow for various addresses to
be utilized - checking each house code and
unit code that is to be used. You might use
a page for each house code with all of the
units listed to be checked. Yeah I know a
pretty big IDEA - but what are wishes for.

We had something like this for testing while
developing ActiveHome Pro; maybe we'll be
able tweak it a bit for a future update.
