I wish for loss of network warning message.

As a test, I disconnected my network
connection and started AHP.  No indication of
missing network was received and I consider
this correct -- if check-for-update cannot
connect upon startup, do not bother the user
since it might be intentionally on a PC
without network.

However, Clicking Help... "Check for update"
resulted in no message either.  I beleive it
would go a LONG way toward helping diagnose
update problems if a message was received
upon this action that indicated: "X10.com
could not be contacted; check your network
connection and/or settings."

I re-connected the network, waited, and
clicked on Help... "Check for update" again,
and again nothing happened.  No message was
received even though I expected success.

A second click on "Check for updates" with
the network connected did get the "The
version on this system is the latest" message.

I'm posting this under Wishes because it's
not actually an "error" in my opinion.

I agree with you that having a notification
that there is no access to the web site is
needed but I think you might not have
waited long enough for Windows to load
everything and re-connect to the net-work
and then to the internet. Windows takes a
little time to get caught up and connected
to things.

You're right Donald, but my issue is that I
received no message when I manually checked
for updates through the Help dropdown while
the network was disconnected.  I should have
received an error message because I initiated
an action that failed.
