I would like to get RID of all the
reminders to "ORDER" on the modules. I
would think that if I am using the module
then I already have the hardware. I don't
see any other software being produced with
these kind of reminders on EVERYTHING to
purchase more hardware. GET RID OF IT - it
is NOT NEEDED - I already have it.

Try Tools >Preferences >uncheck fifth box
from bottom "Show order buttons". That do
it?

The order buttons go away, but the "Buy
Online" is still @ right end of toolbar.  How
about moving this to the Help menu?

Maybe the "buy online" could be changed to
"X10 Website", as they both could point to
the same place, but the "X10 website" text
doesn't have the "feel" of X10 trying to push
more product in a product that someone has
already paid for..  It does get old when
software you run every day has an always very
visible link to "buy more of our stuff"..

To me, even the title bar "Buy Online" is
nagware..

Imagine if MS Word had a link on the title
"Buy our game stuff now!"!

I agree, but how about changing it to come
to the forum website - makes things a
little easier. Or better yet make it a menu
connecting to the websites for X10, the
forum and AHP as well.

Turn it off!!!  In preferences you can
deselect "Order".  Next time you change
rooms orr something or restart, they will
ALL be gone!

In the registry there is a switch to turn
off (or on) the "Plugin Promos" but it
did'nt stop them when I turned it off.
