interface to Modem
« on: November 15, 2004, 04:38:22 PM »

I haven't seen this in the wish list yet! I
would like a plugin that would let
activehome interface with the modem. You
could call home and tell it to turn
something on or off if you were running
late. Or you could have it call a number if
a motion sensor was tripped. We all don't
have net capable phones! It wouldn't need to
be voice interactive but that would be nice!

I'd like an Ethernet interface so I
wouldn't have to keep my computer on for
web access.

Maybe even more useful would be a telephone
interface that could be set to answer on a
distinctive ring. It would need to respond
to at least all of one house code. Not just
the 1st ten. It would be best if it allowed
control of all 256.
