I have been waiting for the promised plug-
in that would allow controlling my X-10
system from the Internet or a phone. I
realize that all the unexpected problems
may have set back the release of this plug-
in. I have called and e-mailed X-10
several  times looking for some sort of
time  schedule for the release and no one
knows  anything. After buying Active Home
Pro is  it time for me to take a closer
look at  Homeseer or Hal2000? I would be
willing to  wait if X-10 could at least
give me some  kind of estimate when it may
be  available.

There are a few programs that people have
made with the sdk around that will alow you
to turn things on off from email or internet
or just monitor and recieve alerts. Have you
tryed realvnc? It is free here:
http://realvnc.com/ You can pull up AHP just
like you were at home actually any program
and use you mouse and keyboard to execute
anything on your home pc. This may do what
you want while your waiting for the plugin.
