Why no European version
« on: March 09, 2005, 05:54:19 PM »

Please please please produce a European
version of your software and sell euro
compatible hardware at US prices! People here
dont seem to realise what they are missing
out on.

Be patient - we have been dealing with a
lot of problems getting things working and
all of the crickets caged - (may be we need
to get some RAID to kill the remaining bugs
in the software). In any case, I am sure
that you would like to get a completely
working system and not have the headaches
that us early adopters (Beta testers) have
delt with. I am sure that when the system
is working 100% of the time then X10 will
release the CM15A/AHP for other markets as
well. There are a lot of things I am sure
that are available to you overseas that are
not availble to us that we have to either
wait for or not see at all. If you have X10
products over there then, you will see this
system as well - given time.

compatible products are from marmitek.
about five times more expensive. the new
activehome pro system seems to be great and
I'd love to buy it. what about a
activehomepro.de-hop? :-) pleeeeaaaaase :-)

I wish they would of tested it in UK
first.  Then, you could have all the
headaches.

Don:  The clock uses the 60Hz power to keep
track of time.  If you used it on a 50Hz
system, the clock would run slow.  A power
converter also might attenuate the X10
signal (depending how the power converter
was designed).
