Monitored Housecode Change window
« on: August 06, 2005, 04:58:54 AM »

I woul like to see a change to the way the
Monitored housecode window operates. I
would like to keep my currently monitored
housecode but I don't want to see the
window pop up when the program decides that
the house code should be changed. Currently
when the program decides that the monitored
housecode should be changed the window pops
up asking if you want to change the
housecode. If you uncheck the Check
Monitored Housecode Usage - the housecode
is automatically changed with no option to
retain the old housecode. I don't need the
window poping up but I want to retain my
old monitored housecode.

Also you can remove the "BUY ONLINE" in the
upper right-hand corner of the main AHP
window as it doesn't seem to work anymore.

Easy fix.  Go to Tools/Preferences and un-
check the *Check Monitored House Code
Usage" box on the ActiveHome Pro tab.

Tried that - AHP will automatically change
the housecode without telling you that it
is making the change. I don't want that to
happen and I don't want to be notified that
AHP thinks it has to make a change to the
settings.

Donald-
Agree with you. A workaround for now is to
add dummy modules, filling up all addresses
in the house code you'd like monitored.
(Replace them with real modules as you need
them later.) AHP will now see that house
code as the one with the most modules and
leave you alone. Not very elegant, but
should work.

I agree with Donald. This is very annoying
and needs to be fixed. Bills work around
will work but should not be necessary.

Wow - I am glad to see that you guys posted
about this; it has been driving me nuts for
weeks and I have gotten ZERO answers from
x10. I'm trying to dummy-module idea right
now to see if that fixes some things.
