Layouts?
« on: January 21, 2007, 03:36:43 PM »

Anyone got any generic layouts I can look over?
When I say generic I mean a house with 4 walls and a yard with a gate.
I have an x10 4-Camera/VCR system and a Phone/Sensor system (bunch of sensors Window/Door, Remote Chime, Horns, etc.)

Should both systems be on the same House Code network?
Or should they be different?

Would like to see others layout and alter for my own use.

Are people using several House Codes in one system?

Thanks

Wireless cameras are turned on and off by X10 Powerline commands. The addressable power supply for the cameras work in groups of 4 unit codes all on the same house code. 1-4;5-8;9-12 and 13-16. Cameras on lets say C1-C4. Send an On to C3 and C1;C2 and C4 all turn off. That way you only have one camera on at anytime. For interference if two or more are on.
I would keep cameras on their own house codes if possible.
Multi-camera users should have added details for you.
