I THINK I FOUND THE PERFECT ANTENNA FOR THE
CM19A. I HAVE SOME TM751 TRANSEIVERS THAT
DON'T WORK SO I DECIDED TO TAKE THE ANTENNA
FROM ONE OF THEM. I HAD AN EXTRA CM19A SO I
DRILLED A .171 DIAMETER HOLE IN THE BACK
SIDE AND CUT THE ANTENNA WIRE TO ABOUT 1"
LENGTH. I SOILDER THE WIRE TO THE MOUNTING
FLANGE. THE LENGTH OF THIS ANTENNA IS
PERFECT. MY CM19A PICKS UP AND SEND SIGNALS
75 FEET AWAY. YOU WOULD THINK THEY WOULD
HAVE USED THAT ANTENNA IN THE DESIGN TO
BEGIN WITH INSTEAD OF THE SHORT PIECE OF
WIRE. I HAVE PICTURE IF ANYONE IS
INTERESTED.
