does anyone have experience using the
harmony 880 remote control macros to
control x-10?  if so how do I do it??

Yes. I bought one, but I returned it because
you need a converter to transmit IR signals
to RF signals. In other words, it does not
transmit RF signals. (X10 sells an IR signal
converter).

I have the IR 543.  I have figured out how
to turn individual devices on and off and
even dim them, but i can't figure out how
to tell them to all dim at once and stop at
certian point every time.

To get them to all dim at once, you need
scene compatible dimmers and then you send
out the command to the scene address (so the
theory goes). But please confirm the Harmony
to IR-543 to switches works. I can't seem to
set up the control through the web site. How
did you do that?

the 880 website has a divice called "X10"
This will control individual dimmers or is
also has a device called "IR543"  This
device will also control individual
dimmers.  Since my last post, I have
discovered if I use my ir543 divice on my
880 remote, I can push the numbers of each
dimmer sequently and control them all with
the volume button.

also how can i get it to transmit at 433.92 MHz?

Has anyone tried the Harmony 890? It has RF capability, but it's unclear to me whether it can transmit to X10 transceivers.

To the best of my knowledge, the 890 does not transmit X10 RF signals and you still need to use an IR543.  Personally I prefer using the IR543 since it allows you to group lights together (as Paul describes) and you get better control when dimming.
