Older model Powerhouse remote inop?

I have an older model Powerhouse remote that I "think" has a problem.   It started with only some of the appliance modules responding to it, but now none of them do.   I assume it is the remote but I'm wondering if there is someway to confirm this?

Any label on the unit with a model number. May assist in finding an answer. By chance is there anything new in the house. Like a TV Computer etc? Many new electronic gadgets mess up X10 and other brand powerline signals.
