Hello, I am brand new to this forum and was hoping I could get a bit of guidance.  I have had some packages stolen from my front stoop as well as having my mailbox vandalized.  My plan is to put up some cameras and try to get some hard evidence of the culprits.

I would like to have a camera set up on my mailbox.  My mailbox is probably about 30-40 feet from my house.  I was thinking maybe a wall mount that is pointed at the box.  I was also thinking of a camera that looks at my front stoop.

I wouldn't mind using my PC to store and view the cams.  Maybe even view them remotely over the internet.

Lastly, I don't want to spend that much money.  Can a setup like this be had for 150 shipped?  Or do I have to settle on a vcr/tv type set up?

color or black and white is ok, I guess low light would be nice as well

thanks for the help

You can kiss that cam goodbye.
You need low light cam, but at the distance you are talking about you well not get a real clear picture of someoneââ,¬â,,¢s face. It well give you a general image of the perk, dress, car make or bicycle You might tell who it is from the image if you have seen the person once before.Simple set up VCR and TV One or Two cams. Check the site to see what is on sale.
