New Bee Question - changing existing wall switch
« on: January 22, 2007, 12:27:46 PM »

Recently I bought few wall switches from X10 and I am going to change one by one. Here is the question. I have a box of existing sawtiches 1. Foyer Chandelier 2. Out side entry door lights 3. one 4-way switch for the setps and 4. a room light 3-way switch. At present I want to change only Foyer Chandelier and Outside entry door lights. These two are just 2-way switches. Do you think there is a problem in leaving the other old switches I expained in 3 and 4 and just change first two to X-10.

Let me know.

I have a X10 wall switch in a multi-switch box. Should be no problem if the original switch was the only one controlling that load.
Normal incandescent bulbs in the ones you want to control? CFL and low voltage lights don't work properly with X10 dimming switches.
