are there x10 wall switches that do not dim??

Yes in a Decorator type. They use a relay in them like the Plug in Appliance modules use. Note they do NEED a neutral power wire in addition to the Hot and Load wires most X10 dimming switches use. WS13A is the model and the threeway companion is a WS14A.
