I am trying to setup my camera modules within AHP and when I try dragging and dropping the module AHP crashed with a general windows error. If I go into tools and preferences I can look at the video setup and see the stills from the camera so I know it is somewhat working.

I have already gone through the uninstall and reinstall process provided to me by x10 support and made sure that I had no spyware or anti-virus software running. I also tried creating a new file per the x10 support rep and still no luck.

I am running at version 3.201 on Windows XP and windows is also fully updated minus one patch. Under the hardware settings in windows update there is an update for intel pc camera pro. I have not applied this since that is what the USB video capture adapter was mistaken for on the initial installation. Should I apply this?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Do you have an ATI Remote Wonder or other software from ATI installed?

What does that mean if you have AIW software running...

Should I delete all AIW software off the computer to get the add camera function to work????

Read the post by X10Pro again. It's referring to ATI not AIW.
I don't SELL this stuff... BUT I sure do ENJOY using it!!!

Sorry about the AIW...

THe AIW is  made by ATI.

Anyways...Im having a hard time getting the active home to find my camera. I have the wireless xx20. The at home doesnt detect my camera and when I go to add it active home crashes. Any help or ideas???? Im just trying to get 1 camera to work...I know the camera and the video receiver work because I connected it to my tv straight. Now I want to get it working on the computer.

Thanks

Are you also using the iWitness module? I have several cameras set up (including xx20A) and adding or deleting the modules is not an issue.

Did you set the camera address correctly? Have you tried clearing the CM15A memory and reload?
