Sometimes seconds / SOMETIMES MINUTES go by between a SENSOR TRIGGER and a MODULE ACTIVATION - is this what you folks have been putting up with?

I have seen delays as long as 30 seconds when triggering complex macros from both keypads and motion sensors. The simpler tasks of pressing a key on a keypad and having it turn on a light are taking only a second or two. I have found that the delays in some of the macros seem to have increased with one of the more recent updates but not sure which one.

Were the macros you're complaining about created from scratch on ActiveHome Pro or automatically converted by AHP from your old ActiveHome/CM11A  schedules?    (Yes, I know you say "Converting" in the subject line.)   I don't know whether or not it would make any difference, but I've seen AHP do some pretty strange things at times when existing schedules are modified.

Does it make any difference whether the problem macro is the only one in the new schedule or is one of a long list of macros?

Well, as JimC's reply seemed to indicate, a Macro TRIGGERED by an RF INPUT (Motion Sensor / Palmpad / etc...) appears to take on a mind of it's own... 

The results were SO ILLOGICAL (and SO CONVOLUTED ) that I had to create a COLOR-CODED EXCEL Spreadsheet in order to properly analyze them. 

[Then, the COLOR Cartridge in my Canon S450 decided to "burn out" (*LONG* STORY about my LOVE / HATE relationship with Canon BJ Printers!), and then it took a bit of time to "properly re-format" the EXCEL data for SMF to accept it...]

Looks like the kind of problem I was talking about at http://www.x10community.com/forums/index.php?topic=9631.0

Maybe my "work-around" using flags (posted later in that topic) will help.  Unfortunately you must have "Smart Macros" add-on module to use flags.

OK. So, it seems from reading the Archives, that folks believe that there are DIFFERNCES between:

• IMPORTED Macros
  .
• EDITED / IMPORTED Macros
  .
• Macros CREATED FROM SCRATCH

Interesting concept - I hadn't considered that option.

To-date, EVERYTHING from ActiveHome CM11A SETUP31 was IMPORTED into ActiveHome Pro SETUP31. When AHP started becoming a PITA, I copied SETUP31 into SETUP32 and started EDITING.

I've posted my DISCOVERIES this evening.

Personally, I'm *PUZZLED* why SEARCH doesn't find the problems that I've just reported (since I wanted to, at least, document them) ?!?     

IMHO, Quality Assurance should have FOUND & REMOVED *MOST* of the BUGs that I posted in:
