I have had ahp installed for over 6 months now with no problems.  until now...  I can turn any unit ON with my CR12A RF remote, but not OFF. The same is true if controlled by AHP software.  The indicators in the software show the lights turning on and off, however they do not turn off.  This also is the case for my dawn to dusk macro.  My outside light is still on in the morning, when it should have shut off at 3 am.  This first happend about a week ago, then 2 days later it was working correctly without me even investigating the problem, now it is not working again.  The activity monitor is correctly showing the commands. Any ideas would be a great help.   Mark

Any new electronic equipment in the house, like TVs, computers, etc.?  You may have a new noise problem. We need more information so you can get the help you need.
I don't SELL this stuff... BUT I sure do ENJOY using it!!!

I thought I was the only one that had this anomaly.  Our microwave oven has alway blocked X10 signals in its vicinity.  Some time ago I put a home brewed filter on it which cleared up the operation of everything but one light fixture.  Now when the microwave is ON I can turn that light fixture ON but can't turn it OFF.  My suspicion is that when the light is OFF the line to it is relatively "high" impedance so the X10 signal gets through, but when the light is ON the line to it is relatively "low" impedance so the X10 signal is swallowed up.  Something to ponder.
Having "fun" with X-10 since 1980.

There are many posts here about noise and filters investgate them as they may well provide you with the help you need.
something such as Oldtimer suggests is more than likely the problem! ;)

;D,  I unplugged my NEW 36" sony TV, and like magic, all is well.  Now to find a filter to fix it. ???  Thanks for the quick responses.

Make sure you get a filter designed for X10 use.  Ordinary generic noise filters may make the problem worse as they can suck up the X10 signal as well as the noise.

Yesterday it worked.
Today it doesn't work.
X10 on Windows is like that.
