SS13A Slimline Switch
« on: September 25, 2006, 05:48:44 AM »

I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of how this switch acts when battery starts to get low. I have one set for A6, A7 and A8. Unit is only about 45 days old and I noticed its starting to jump house codes. I hit A7 off it worked OK. I pressed once A6 on and nothing... Checked activity monitor and seen O6 RF received. I need to get out and get a battery for it since that would be the first step.

Just wondered if anyone else has seen these switches jump house codes when battery gets low? I would have thought that with low battery they would do what everything else does... default to A1.

My experience is when the SS13A battery gets low, it stops transmitting.  To change it, pull the battery compartment (on the bottom of the switch) out and replace the battery.
