I converted from Active Home to X10
ActiveHome Pro and now use the cm15a usb
box.  All of my macros no longer turn
operate my switches unless they are made by
X10.  They will no longer turn on, off or
dim light switches that have a "memory"
(i.e. the switch remembers its
last brightness level, specifically Leviton
model # 6343 switches)  For the last 4
months the technical support folks do not
have any suggestions and said they would
pass the information on to "programming",
but nothing has been done.
The old software, ActiveHome, worked fine
but now we can not make half
of our house switches work.  This is a big
bug and they have not yet fixed it.  Does
anyone know a solution or if they are
addressing this program problem?

What kind of modules are these switches set
for in AHP? Can you turn them on or off from
the screen?

AHP confgiuration has an option in Options -
> Macros that will force it to send an ON
signal instead of a BRIGHT 100%.  I would
check this box to for it to send an ON then
a DIM sequence rather than a BRIGHT 100%
and a DIM sequence.

May work, may not...

I am having no luck getting Leviton DHC
switches to go on through timer settings;
they will go off when scheduled and they
will operate manually on-screen through the
PC or via the RF remote.  X10 has replaced
my CM15A but still the same problem.

The module in AHP is set to Leviton 6383
under the "lamps".  Yes you can turn them
on and off and dim them from the screen,
but not within macros.

Eric-  Thank you for your suggestion.  I
already had this checked, but for those who
have not checked that option it is a must
or your switches will do odd things or not
work at all when macros are activated.

Steve -  This is a strange suggestion, but
go to your "monitored house code setting"
and make sure your your monitored code is
the same code as the bulk of your macros.
My macros are all letter M and when I
checked this box ( the default is A Code)
the timers and macros will function from
the cm15a, but leviton switches with memory
will still not work.

Active Home Programmers - You must enable
the software to have the option (and it
also needs to work) to send out an on
signal that will brighten the lights to
full then dim to the preset level.  This is
a must for all switches that have a memory
of their last position.  Currently the
Leviton 6343 type switches will not
function within a macro whatsoever.

I'm dumbfounded...I've got a Leviton 6343 1000w dimming switch, incandescant and low voltage, that responds to the PC console "on & off, dim" and remote commands, but the macros and timers do not activte the switch....go figure.  It's set up as  a Leviton 6391 but the only commands that don't work are from the timers and macros....any suggestions ?  The remote and PC command work fine. ??
