No video on Lola audio and video transmitter VT42A

Hooked up the audio and video transmitter and receiver to both a laptop and desktop, and in both cases I am not getting any video signals to my TV.  However, I am getting audio though.  Both computers have S-video ports and thus I am using the supplied adapter to convert the port from S-Video to standard video cable.  Everything has been checked numerous times, the units are powered and hooked up as directed in the instructions.  Anyone have any suggestions?  Any help is greatly appreciated....

You may want to verify that the S-video adapter is working by bypassing the wireless pieces and plugging your laptop directly into the TV's video input via the adapter.
