AHP/Alarm magnetic switch status- Web viewing
« on: November 28, 2006, 08:48:28 PM »

When I open a door the magnetic switch status will show that event on the host computer( in real time).  But, when viewing this on the web it will only appear if the event happened after logging in remotely.  In other words, when you view AHP remotely, the magnetic switches will (by default) show closed even though a door was opened moments before you logged in.  If that same door is closed and then reopened, while you are watching remotely, then it will update.  But it will not grab the current status when it opens.
Trying to be as clear as I can.

I have not tried this yet but will give it a try in the morning when I get to work. Thanks for the observation.

Considering that the "real time" GUI is often out of touch with reality, it is a lot to ask of their Web interface!
