ADT system and x10 lighting

Has anyone with ADT system used the x10 lighting option? I had ADT installed and they can not get the x10 option to work. I need some input,help.

Ooooo how I have to restrain myself from spilling a long list of what ADT stands for......

What system do you have?   Ademco, DSC, etc?
