That is an interesting system. Wonder if it is compatible w/ X-10 products like door/window sensors, on-alert etc. ?
I have very happy w/ my x-10 system because:
1. I have a small house, no range problems.
2. I cannot run wires through filled block walls with no basement or attic.
3. I do NOT want the (very slow) police arriving and charging me for the inevitable false alarm (although i haven't had one).
Features of this ebay system are nice, but there is very little info there (no link to manual). Does it turn lights on and off like x10? I've read this is a good protective feature. Don't know if this uses the same wireless frequency as x-10, but it appears everything (except the console) has old-fashioned looking steel extending antennas (even the keychain remotes).
Since you have called, can you get a link to the manual and find out about x10 compatibility?
Also, I see no remote sirens, and 85db at the console is most likely not enough. (This makes me think it is not x10 compatible, because it has no way to trigger remoter sirens.) EDIT: He USED to have an extra "wireless" siren w/ a flashing light that you could "plug into any outlet", sounds like possible X10 compatibile.
Of course, for the the best security you would want to go w/ a MUCH more expensive wired system.

P.S. The feedback was also good from the people who got these, but on an item like this durability may be a question and what works at the time of the feedback may not later.
PPS: Is the original post a real post or an ad? And X10 has a WARRANTY, with this guy "All sales are final".
