Sometimes the appliance modules work and sometimes they don't
« on: December 13, 2006, 02:00:22 AM »

I am running active home pro to run my christmas lights.  I had trouble with some modules working. sometimes they will work sometimes they don't work.  I installed an xpcp phase coupler, the problem went away at first, then returned.   I am frustrated with this whole set up.   on the phase coupler there appears to be  a light,  Is it supposed to be on while in operation or not?

Phase Coupling is always recommended. After that you have to track down noise problems and signal suckers. Check out TakeTheActive's TTA's X10 Troubleshooting Tips Thread [Updated: 2006/11/18] thread... you're sure to find the reason why sometimes things work & sometimes they don't.  ;)
