December time change problem
« on: December 19, 2006, 01:49:33 PM »

I thought this was addressed. There is something about the third week in December that triggers the CM15A to advance one hour, as though it thinks daylight savings time is in effect. My lights turned on and off one hour early starting December 17. This happened to me exactly one year ago.

My setup consists of a CM15A and several wall switch modules and a few motion sensors. I do not leave the unit connected to my PC; I use it stand-alone after I download my program. Maybe this isn't an issue if it is left connected to a running PC?

I am using the currently latest version of AHP software (3.204), at least according to its Check For Updates option.

My CM11A did not do that on 12/17, but mine is connected 24/7.

That may be the problem.  It can't get the time from the PC, so it uses it's own time setting chip and that may be battery driven and the batteries are losing their charge.

I just checked and I posted this same problem last year on this forum.  Weird!
