My MS14a
« on: January 21, 2007, 09:07:06 PM »

New to X10 I have been able to figure out most problems but for the life of me I am unable to figure out or find this on any post. I have AHP and have been able to use it to turn on/off most everything. I bought the MS14A and tested it by turning on the light A1 straight to the A1 light thru a TM751 however I want to controll lights thru the AHP. I have added MS14A to my Living Room and tryed setting up macros but really am not sure If I am doing it correctly. So far I have only 4 lights on AHP A1 and A2 living room and A5 and A6 outside lights. Just for testing I want my MS14A motions sensor to turn on A1. I have changed my MS14a to C11 and am trying to set up a macro M1 to turn on A1. Once I figure how to do this I will be more creative later. I am sure I am missing something but what I am not sure. An example would be great. However any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks WBill

I have changed my MS14a to C11 and am trying to set up a macro M1 to turn on A1.

If you want your macro to be triggered by your MS14A, which is set to address C11, then your macro has to be set to the same address... C11 not M1.
