Another reason you need to switch cams on and off is that the video has to go through the digital converter, the VA11A. It has only one input and AHP, iWatchout software will only recognize 1 VA11A. You can put a quad processor (or video switch) between 4 live cams and the VA11A, use a "Y" splitter on the quad output and run one video line to a TV or VCR/DVR and the other leg of the "Y" splitter to the VA11A then to the computer.
