IconLite Remote

I finally got my remote to work.  To some degree that is.  It will do everything except turn my TV on/off.  Is there a step I might have missed?  I programmed it using the search method, as I was not having any luck using the direct code entry.  Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Can't log into what. The IconLite remote; an X10 web site, your computer?

If it is the IconLite remote. What is not happening?
Like screen dark etc.

Doesn't the Search method rely on the TV turning OFF to establish the correct codes? Or do you mean it now controls everything except the TV? If so, how new and what brand is the TV? You may have to call X10 with TV brand and model to confirm the Icon has your TV codes in firmware.
